To add an Email account in Outlook Express, select "Accounts" from the "Tools" menu.

Click "New" and then "Mail" to create a new e-mail account.

Click the "Configure Account Manually" button on the lower-left corner of the window.

Select "POP" from the "Account Type" menu, then click "OK".

Account Configuration

  1. In the "Account Name" box, type a name to differentiate this account from others in Mail.
  2. Type your name in the "Name" box.
  3. Type your Email address in the "Email Address" box.
  4. Type in your SnowCrest Email username in the "Account ID" box. If your SnowCrest Email is "myname@snowcrest.net", you would only enter "myname" here. This box is case sensitive.
  5. Type "mail.snowcrest.net" in the "POP Server" box.
  6. Type in the password to the Email account in the "Save Password" box.
  7. Type "mail.snowcrest.net" for the "SMTP Server".
  8. Click "OK" and you're done.
