Hansen Creek
trestle is one of the beautiful curved steel trestles
that Milwaukee
employed on their crossing of the Cascade range.
I really
wish I would have done these shots
with Black
and White. This day of the bicycle ride was in and out
sun with
rain mixed in with it.
This is
quite away east of the Twin Falls trail and as you can see,
the clouds
are really squeezing together.
One thing
that the State Park System needs to address
is this
brush and trees growing right up
under these
trestles.
If they
ever have a forest fire, they'll ruin the tensil strenth
of the steel
in these bridges.....
If that
happens, you can kiss off this trail....
