Here are a few shots of the ongoing restoration
projects that are taking place in Laws California.
Laws was the northern terminous of the
Carson and Colorado Narrow Gauge RR.
After Southern Pacific gained control
of the railroad, they cut back the narrow
gauge part to the Owens Valley.
The last run was in the very early 60's.
Here is the Brill Motor car in the Laws RR Museum car barn.

Power Truck. The trailing truck looks identical
except it
has straight axles like a freight truck.
Original engine out of the
Brill Narrow gauge motor car
being restored at Laws.
This car was purchased by
the Death Valley Railroad
and used by them until abandoned.
It never was at Laws or in
service on the C & C.
