More Laws RR Museum
Around the yard

Note the old SP narrow gauge box cars sitting on the ground
as storage.
This car barn is new, and I don't believe there was anything
at this location before.
Also note the ingeneous way that the folks were able to use
regular ties in place of switch ties......
Pretty slick for making due.......

This is looking south down the Owens Valley.
On the left is the original gallows type
turntable that was in service right till the end.

Another note on the ties, these came from the
"Jawbone Branch" , the SP's Lone Pine Branch
that was finally tore out in the late 90's.
The Museum was able to obtain alot of ties and rail from the savage company.

Here's a little better detail shot of the turntable........

Looking back northeast towards White Mountain peak
which has a nice thunderstorm happening when these were shot.
It sounded like artillery fire out that way !
