Gleaned Thoughts to Ponder

We all teach children.

for it is not the teaching, but the touching that is remembered...

Mount Shasta Elementary (MSES) is a kindergarten through fourth grade school with a population of about 400 students. It is a beautiful, fifty year-old site nestled at the base of towering Mount Shasta. We are the recipients of a Reading Improvement Grant, a 1996 School Based Technology Grant, a Breakfast Start-Up Grant, and a participant in many other grants. In partnership with the parents and community, Mount Shasta Elementary works to promote excellence in education. We offer a strong, balanced reading program, a focus on outdoor science programs, and innovative strategies.
