I would be interested to view any information you have on the history of the WWII o class destroyer (G98) HMS Orwell. My grandfather served on her during the second world war. He has sadly recently passed away. Nice site, I found it when doing a search on HMS Orwell, my dad also served on this ship during WW2, he was on the Russian Convoy runs. Strangely enough at the end of the war the crew went to Canada and my father tried to pursuade my mum to come out to him and marry there. It wasn't to be though and he returned to sunny Leicester to marry her there. Who knows maybe your father Kenneth Rushton and mine Albert Edward Wait, knew each other. Nice site, Wendy; some excellent pictures (I especially liked thereflection-on-the-loch image. Just a couple of pedantic points,though.Loch Lomond has no "a"s in it anywhere and I think "High Craighton" shouldlose the "h" ie "Craigton".
