I would be interested to view any information you have on the history of the WWII o class destroyer (G98) HMS Orwell. My grandfather served on her during the second world war. He has sadly recently passed away. I am trying to find as much information as i can about the ship and her crew as i can as my mother and aunt have become very interested in this time as my grandfather rarely spoke of his days in the Navy. Any information or contacts you may be able to pass me would be greatly recieved.

Wendy, what a great website. However I have been trying to e-mail one of your free e-cards and have not been successful. I'm not sure what I am doing wrong. I am very disappointed because you have several e-cards that I would love to send. But even though I'm disappointed about not being able to send them, I have really enjoyed viewing them Thanks Theresa Stillwell

Nice site, I found it when doing a search on HMS Orwell, my dad also served on this ship during WW2, he was on the Russian Convoy runs. Strangely enough at the end of the war the crew went to Canada and my father tried to pursuade my mum to come out to him and marry there. It wasn't to be though and he returned to sunny Leicester to marry her there. Who knows maybe your father Kenneth Rushton and mine Albert Edward Wait, knew each other. Unfotunately my dad passed away in October 1988, so we may never know. Best Wishes, Chris

I love the animation on your cards. I also love all the sentimental sayings. I recently had a fall out with an employee which she took not so well. I felt really bad and didn't have the words to put on paper, but, your site was just perfect. I found it thru search engine.
