1)  Our exchange student Bruno Poit arrived on August 14.2004 in Sacramento.
2)  He stayed with Scott Durbin and family for the first 4 months.
3)  He attended our Club meetings at least once a month, and  received his $100 per month allowance from us at these meetings.
4)  Ginger and Bob Fassio met Bruno at the Sacramento airport on the 14th.  He stayed at Ginger and Bob's for a day or two, and then went to Scott and Neva's home on Monday.
5)  Josie Wyatt set up the appointments and enrolled him in Weed High School, where he established an outstanding record.
6)  From January through July 15,2005 Bruno stayed with Mike and Irma
Carpine.
7)  Bruno traveled to New York City and extensively in California with
the Durbin's, the Carpine's, and on District 5160 trips.

Bruno -

Is from rural Brazil, 350 miles from Sao Paulo.
Was 16 in December, 2004.
Has an older brother in college.
Likes drawing, animals, swimming, computers for on-line discussion and video games, and a Brazilian style of fighting called 'capoeira'.
Ranked 12th out of 34 in his class in Brazil, and "has achieved great results" per his principal.
This was his first trip out of his country.
