I thought we had a great club assembly. I appreciate everyone's input. Our meeting place is still a concern. I have had suggestions from some members that I'm checking into. When asking people to join our club, we need to be selective. We need to start forming relationships with the businesses in our community. We had great representation from COS, Great Northern and Shasta View Nursing. Let's keep the focus on quality when choosing programs. We have had some great one's so far. Casino Night is coming up and we will be having a meeting soon. Mike Solano has decided to step down as chairman. He has done such an awesome job. Thanks, Mike for all your hard work. I want everyone to stay positive. We will still have Casino Night, and it's going to be great!!! Through the ups and downs, I still love being president. I love working beside you and enjoy our fellowship. You all bring something different to the table, and that makes our club special. Thank you for your hard work and dedication. What's the #1 rule of Rotary? What's that, I can't hear you.....to have FUN!!!!

4. Repair of the roof on our storage shed at the City corporation yard is being investigated since the wet season is nearly upon us. 5. Leon volunteered to remove the Weed Rotary sign from the outside of Dos Amigos, and relocate it to its prior location in Silva's entry hall. 6. It was decided to talk to Mike Matheson about having one of the WHS students keep our website up to date for us. 7. The setup of the by-laws review committee is in progress. If you would like to be on the committee, please let Pat or Sheryl know. 8. Pending availability, the Christmas Party will be at the Lake Shastina Golf Resort on December 6. 9. We will be dark on December 26, and we will have a regular meeting on January 2. 10. We will have a 'fireside chat' when we have a few more members as a result of the Membership Committees intensified push to identify potential new members. 11. Our annual cleanup of California Street and Schoolhouse Hill will be on Saturday 10/6 at 9 AM.
