GOALS OF THE CENTER
To further the fine arts of painting, fiber arts, sculpture, basketry,
photography, pottery making, music, etc. in Trinity County.
To provide suitable facilities for the display of objects of the fine
arts representative of Trinity County and other Northern California
counties, and produced in the area.
To provide instruction in the techniques of fine art.

FACILITIES
Instruction space and display areas have been provided in a picturesque
pioneer residence built in 1894, and located at 503 Main Street in the
Historical District in Central Weaverville.

Classes are conducted at various times by resident artists and others. Please
contact us for current schedule of Classes, Media and instructors..
MEMBERSHIP
Membership levels are in several catagories, as are the schedule of dues. Please contact
us for membership information..
Member artists may submit photographs
or slides to be reviewed by the Board of Directors for consideration for
a one person show.
Membership Benefits include; Discounts on Gallery Merchandise, Professional Discounts at
participating Art Supply Stores, Quarterly Newsletter, Use of Art Library, and many other
benefits.
CENTER HOURS
- January through April Hours- 10 AM to 5 PM,
Monday through Saturday.
- May 1 to December 24th Hours- 10 AM to 5 PM, Monday through Saturday.
Sunday 11 AM to 4 PM.
- The works of local and featured artists are on display year-around.
- Receptions are held each month for the new shows,
contact the Center Staff for date, time and Featured Artists.

THE SNYDER HIGHLAND FOUNDATON
The Foundation is a non-profit corporation established in 1969 by Gilman
and Lucille Snyder. Operating funds are derived from a modest percentage
of the sale of items displayed in the Gallery and from contributions.

NOTE-The monthly gallery show photos have been discontinued due to time and funding allocations at the
TrinityCam Internet Information Project, that has provided a free webpage for the Highland Art Center since 1993. The Highland Art Center started making plans for their own website in 2006.
