The avatar should have announced the donor's identity rather than declare that he has no direct link with donor-why this unwanted disclaimer when after all an individual is making such a unique contributionof such magnitude for a Hospital Project-
and for which he should earn more respect from society rather than the avatar !I wish such donations do go to many other charitable hospitals/children/old folks homes run by many dedicated selfless individuals and organisations
whose founders/followers claim no "divine powers" or "Godhead" and do not go about challenging whether any one else has been able to do as much as has been done by this avatar . God bless the unknown donor and may his compassion encompass other charityhospitals in India needing finanacial support badly.

One of these deleted posts asked why my daughter was still a devotee. It's because she was brought up to have a mind and will of her own. She has always chosen her own way in life. She also lives in India surrounded by devotees who won't even consider reading any of the expose' material. Many American devotees who live near the Puttaparthi and Whitefield ashrams accept the "party line" of the sai org, hook line and sinker. And how can they do anything else? These devotees are utterly submerged in the "sb vibes" that surround them on all sides day and night, 24 hours a day. If you were drowning in the middle of the ocean with no ships in site, could you survive?

I agree, murphett was guided into writing man of miracles, but murphett also said that he wanted to be an author like Maugham. May have been in his end of the road book.

I agree. I can feel the energy of a book about sb. I can also usually tell if a person is a devotee. Not always, but much of the time. I can feel the sb energy around them.

Tony, I don't think the sb books were written because the authors were frustrated writers. One of the main ways the false god obtained many (perhaps most) of his devotees was through books and the personal energy he somehow put into those books..."sai vibes," the new agers might call it. Convincing people to write books was all part of sb's master plan. It may sound superstitions to say that books have vibrations, but Yogananda also mentioned it. He said if someone wanted to be become an artist, for example, that person should read books by artists because the vibrations of the artists were in the books. When reading a book, I can always tell where the author is coming from, and I distinctly remember the powerful "sai vibes" of THE HOLY MAN AND THE PSYCHIATRIST, which was my own "hooked by a book" experience.
Some of sb's authors didn't even want to write books and didn't really know how. Rita Bruce, for example, loudly protested that she had no idea how to write a book, but she ended up doing it at sb's command.
It's O.K. for the legal part of the expose' to concentrate on the hard, cold facts of molestations. That's all the courts would look at. But the remaining millions of devotees are caught by sb's energies as well, and these energies are radiating from the books, photos, bhajan tapes, and videos...not to mention from the die-hard devotees who go around the world lecturing and giving workshops.

Saishoot would have us like him believe every lie told about sb's childhood. Forgetting the fact his uncle was a tantric conjururer and gave sb his books etc.
The reason for sb's success was idiots like Murphett writing books about him, because they were frustrated somerset maughams. It is all a retrospective constructed lie, with many blunders and mistakes made by gokak and kasturi as they cooked the books.

With reference to #1469,A Sparrow,I think you are quiet correct in analysing Parthi Baba.Though i don't really bother about his sexual preference's,but the Male devotees are petrified and revolted by his actions,as can be known by Tal,conny,Said,,,..outburst against him.In fact my friend,my namesake who was studying in Brindavan Public School,Wellington,Tamil nadu,India,told me that Parthi Baba indulges in Un-natural acts with Male student's of his college when he had joined the college after completion of 12 standard.I did not believe him then and he was one of the student's (Ex) who got killed in the 6 june 93,incident,when Parthi Baba allowed Mob Frenzy to take over,instead of calming the situation and transform the student's as Super Duper Human Being's.Unfortunately my friend died and now with all these exposes coming in rapid succession goes to prove Parthi Baba has and is a Sexual Predator from the time he started to wield enormous influence by his Left Hand Yogic tricks.

Perhaps they have come across information exposing him or perhaps have a gut feeling that something is very wrong - and perhaps would like to hear the views from devotees who have left him. For the most part, all the useless spam type posts that have been appearing on this board are all over the Yahoo boards as well. That poster gets around!
