Bala Sai Baba is a jungle scavenger : What the main predator at Puttaparthi, hunts and kills, this copycat specimen , who is the local talent, scavenges, and ensures that the cleanup is complete.

One addtional thought : Possibly he is a "deliberate setup" of the Puttaparthi conman, deliberately made to look like an obviously imitating fraud, so that the bigger fraud gains respectability by comparision.

People say : Oh ,this Bala Sai Baba is a fraud, the REAL one is in Puttaparthi .

Of course, they are right, the "Real fraud" is the one in Puttaparthi !!! the other one is just a small time scamster !!

Hi Sparrow,

I was really impressed with your post. It really sounds like you got the ssb bug really intensely. I wonder if you could describe how it happened that you "fell in love" with ssb, thinking and chanting about him all the time? Is there anything anyone could have said to you at the time to get you "out?" Please, I need to understand this phenomenon. Do you think it is cultic in nature? Love, Q

So glad you are still with us!! I guess that was the only way you felt you could prove it for yourself so fair enough. Wouldn't it be easy if we could all just 'know' what is right and was is not without having to test things out in the physical.

Beyond the Form, what a wonderful story! It belongs on a web site for all to read and be inspired. I'm saving it in my e-mail box.

Marswalker, thanks again for your enlightening posts. They should be on a web site as well before they get buried by other posts.

Actually this board is full of inspiring and interesting posts. Thanks to everyone and thanks to you, Anthony, for giving us a moderated board!

I spent the whole 9 yrs that I was a dev thinking, dreaming, reading, etc about sb, but I didn't take the large quantities of v until the last few years (I thought it would heal me of all my ills; har-har-har). All along I did take little dabs of it, though. What I mean is, I didn't notice any change in my consciousness right after ingesting it. It was the pretty much the same all the time. I don't think it was the v itself that made me all soupy-goopy. It was just the whole thing. It was a sort of desire to be absorbed by something vast.

Sparrow, you said (a few posts back) that you used a lot of vibhutti in water, but didn't notice that it affected your mind. But you said somewhere (I forget where) that you spent almost all of your time thinking, dreaming, and praying to ssb. How do you know that the vibhutti didn't promote that mental and emotional state?

I remember once in our bhajan group a new woman showed up one evening. She absolutely refused to touch any vibhutti. I always wondered why.

Love,

Terrie

Hello everyone, (Continuation from post 484)

I would like you to contrast the above with an extract of a talk by Mirinalini Mata, direct disciple of Paramahansa Yogananda, SRF 1978, Cassette No 2402:

"...There is one quality you will always find in the true guru and that is humiliy - that humility was in Master. He could speak even about Himself. He could even speak about his accomplishments or even about his qualities, but when he said it - it was not a personality or an ego speaking about God. I don't think I ever heard Master say, 'My disciples.' He would always say, 'The Divine Ones that God has sent to me.' He would refer to them as 'the devotees,' but he never said, 'my disciples, my work, my accomplishments.' That 'I, Me, or Mine' just didn't exist in Master. I think that if anyone would to ask us who were around Master, 'How would you judge one who is truly saintly - who is truly divine?' - I would say that if one has not humility that I saw manifest in Gurudev - he is still lacking in spiritual accomplishment. The Guru has no ego. 'The I shall die, than I shall know who who am I.' In the Guru the I has died. There is only God. He speaks only God. He draws others not to himself, not even to his personality...."

One of the problems is that an Avatar and true Satguru seldom comes to earth. But we should investigate their qualities, compare them with ssb, and then use soul discrimination to make a decision.

Love,

Hello everyone,

An Avatar or true Guru must always set an example and be a role model.

In post 14141 of Dr. Lane's club references were made to red flags such as that a true Aavatar, "does't go around claiming that he is an avatar." It was pointed out that ssb has made statements such as, "No one can comprehend My Glory...,The power of Sai is LIMITLESS: it manifests for ever, all forms of 'power' are resident in this Sai Palm...I AM GOD...I AM AVATAR, I have always been Avatar." Over the years there have been many examples of Sai Baba claiming he is God.

Furthermore, there have been many references on these boards wherein it is shown that ssb seems to brag about his deeds and accomplishments. Recently Luvdeglobal in post 15872(Lane's club) gave this example: "There have been great avatars in the past. But there never were such achievements in such a short spam of fifty years. ALL THESE THINGS WERE DONE SINGLE - HANDEDLY." MarsWalker in comments concerning the 2000 Christmas discourse gives this example, "Hey, how are the works that are being done? Is anyone doing even a thousanth part of it? No, No, No! ONLY ONE, SATHYA SAI BABA...!!"

Love, MarsWalker108 This sequel is continued next post.

Beyond the Form 481

Maybe everyone is born wih a magic lamp inside of them. I can't remember when I was a child the feeling of wonder, awe and connection I had with God. I certainly didn't have it when I grew up. My magic lamp as buried under a thousand pieces of clutter I hurled into my inner storehouse as I coped with living my life. Other people also threw stuff in my cupboard - tradition, religion, education, knowledge, standards, fashion, career, notions of all kinds that were not what I was born with. I think I came lightly equipped - with only my magic lamp. I think we all do.

Sometime in my life when I was a distressed and depressed 48year old, Sai Baba pointed out my magic lamp lying under all the other junk in my inner room. Curious, I took it out. It was tarnished, dull and devoid of any value to me because I had never polished it or cared for it in all those years. As I began polishing it up the first thing I saw was a reflection of my own face, and then a genie came out!

In my case, the genie was the idea that God is real and exists and is useable to improve life - but a friend who was also polishing her lamp found Jesus. I went to India to see what Sai Baba was all about. What I saw were thousands of people all throwing new stuff into their inner rooms, covering up their magic lamps.

I lived in a place where some people's homes manifested honey on their pictures, vibuti in piles, coconuts with necklaces or rings inside them when broken open, lingams and goodness knows what else. The folk to which this was happening swore it was Sai Baba who was doing it to them, - they only saw his face in their magic lamps. But I felt if they had looked closely at the reflection, they would have seen a reflection of themselves! They were polishing up their lamps with such faith, that the genie coming out, the divine, creative force which is there for all of us, was making such miracles in their lives.

I would have been very distressed if honey dribbled down the pictures on my walls, or piles of ash collected on my favourite chair - this is not my idea of a useful miracle! But the vibhuti did grow in my little vibhuti pot, a personal affirmation of the divine power we can all release in ourselves. I do not believe that Sai Baba makes vibuti grow. It is not unique to Sai Baba.

If I rub my magic lamp, all sorts of miracles happen to me - life seems easy and synchronised and I am filled with the wonder of God. The more I am filled with this wonder, the more wonderful life becomes. But when life becomes drab, cloying, difficult and tedious, I know some inner housework has to be done and I scratch around for my magic lamp.

After I had written the vibuti grows letter - I went upstairs to look in my vibuti pot which I haven't opened for over a year. Well, it hasn't grown much - possible not at all since I last looked at it. But I tasted it - still tastes the same and has a delicate fragrance.

I believe the power that comes out of our personal magic lamps, is awesome. It can be used for good or evil. When we didn't know we had a lamp, it was pretty useless and powerless. But once we polish our lamps, our thoughts and actions have very wide influences and repercussions. My Christian friend sees Jesus reflected in the side of her lamp. As she rubs, HE is the power that lets the genie out. It's comforting to have a concept like that. My way is a bit more lonely - for when I look closely at my lamp - all I see is me!

Dear Cock & Bull, Lucideye, Questor and all,

Don't worry I have survived and feel perfectly okay. I didn't notice anything that would point to an altered state of consciousness. I felt and feel totally normal.

I had and asc after much sadhana that lasted 10 hours a few months ago when I was still a devotee without using vibuthi and incense. It disappeared in fact just after bhajan service.

Dear Cock & Bull, this is about the only of your many statements that I can verify myself. And your statement proved to be untrue. I hope you understand that I and may be others who trust me think that you have lost credibility. Please next time don't present theories as facts. It will not help anybody imho. Thanks in advance

I used to take tons of v. Sometimes I would fill a glass with water and mix in a heaping tablespoonful. It never had any effect on the way I felt or my mental state. I wish I hadn't done that, though, because if indeed it is mixed with talcum powder, it sure could be cancer causing. Oh, well.

Dear Cock & Bull and all,

Thanks for your answer. Because the deceit has been so big I doubt everything and distrust everybody so I am always looking for a confirmation or second opinion because I don't want to be deceived again. How to distinguished a wolf in sheep's clothing from a true friend or an ignorant, deluded person from somebody who has real knowledge and insight? Well, may be I am not intelligent enough but I really don't know quite often. It takes a lot of effort to find the truth.

I hope no one on this board gets angry when I or others ask for references or confirmations. I fully understand if people distrust me. Thanks. Kind regards, Andries

Dear Beyond......,

You are absolutely correct in saying about Aroma Therapy.Thats why we are always taught to control our senses to reach the supreme state of Ananda(Bliss).

Regarding Vibhuthi Manifestation, when you know how to control spirits, they wll do all kinds of stuff for you. There are limitation, even in this sphere of existence.

Evil spirits will boomerang on the person itself if it cannot fulfill its action on the victim. So please be careful about Vibhuthi and its source.

Thanks Anthony! Easy site to follow and not locked - so I'm back - about Vibuti - I have some in my home which is years old - it still smells like roses and grows. I am not a devotee. It should be whitish - the new stuff comes in at the top, very white and fragrant.

I think maybe certain fragraces like incense could alter the consiousness - that is the whole point of Aroma Therapy. Also most Religions have used the power of fragrance for thousands of years to affect people.

I shall try eating my Vibhuti.

Dear All.

I am sorry,if i sound and convey a feeling of mystery and that in turn makes you all wonder if i am telling the truth.I am doing my own investigation for a group of International people and i have been privvy to certain reports pertaining to Raju.At the most,i can tell my sources are are from Intelligence Gathering Agencies. As for eating Vibhuthi, smelling Vibhuthi & incence sticks etc,it all depends on the batch that is coming out each time.As rightly pointed out by some in the board,i have had bitter experiance with some people posing as anti-Raju,but were only interested in knowing my sources and thereby close my investigations.Today, believe me i am in a better situation. Its only a question of timing, as well placed people in the Govt,as well as influential people not only in India, but from other parts of the world, are willing to nail this man once for all.In my hearts of heart,i believe that the spirit of Shirdi Sai Baba has finally decided to put this man behind bars just like his ilk Premananda,Chandraswami etc.I don't wish to sound arrogant to anybody, but i am not here looking for certificates from anybody. Each individual is intelligent enough to know what is truth and thereby arrive at their own conclusion.I felt it was my moral obligation to people at large who are being conned royally by Raju and his conspirators, and i am trying my bit to put an end to this charade.

Dear all,

I don't know what has happened to Keenan because that's before I came an ex-devotee. I can however hardly blame devotees who think that the anti-SSB people form part of some kind of conspiracy. There is so confusion and much conflicting data with regards to SSB. Positive testimonies about SSB even come sometimes from impartial outsiders.

So some devotees may think that's it is necessary to pretend they are ex-devotees and to infiltrate in the anti-SSB groups to find the truth and to debunk the anti-SSB people. Like an undercover journalist. I don't know whether this is morally acceptable but I will not condemn people who do this if they have a sincere desire to find the truth because they see no other possibility to find the truth. Of course I understand very well that Keenan and others in their turn feel betrayed and emotionally wounded.

Kind regards, Andries

Questor 463

06-25-2001 12:17 AM

Andries, the vibhuti I saw and smelled and never ate, *did* smell like talcum powder, and I don't advise eating it because talc is a carcinogen. It's probably not pure ash but a mix of talc and ash. Don't eat it and it won't burn.

Lucideye 462

Yes, dear Cock & Bull.

That point is absolutely justifiable. I have eaten lots of vibhuti but never got an altered state of consciousness from eating it. Or do I have to eat a pound or what? I do not know where you got your information from but IMO you should be a bit more careful or you will make yourself untrustworthy. Thanks for clarification.

Anthony,

She left up for perhaps one day after the little shambala thing, a list of all the urls, *and* the actual links and all the text material, in a list form. I suppose this is how the stuff gets arranged initially, when constructing a web page. Some of it was just the links to the resignation letters, which she has a copies of.

I would think that she might be willing to let someone else run a board with this information on it. It seems a shame to take down a whole board like that when so many people every day need to see it. The information is public, really. It was submitted to her board to be dispersed as public information.

Isn't there anyone else who could put it up? Aren't there any free websites or places it might go as a whole? Maybe put the whole thing on SIMPOS or something.

If you would like to e-mail me privately at my yahoo address, you may.

Raju's believers are perturbed over neurological scientific experiments connoting a religious or spiritual experience can be an outcome of activation of a certain part of the brain and nothing beyond.

Doctor's claim discovering areas of the brain that are activated during Bhajan Singing and mind altering substance's being found in VIBHUTHY from Raju's ashram.Further evidences are being ascertained towards epilepsy and hallucinogenic drugs - and spiritual experiences.

Areas in the front of the brain that are involved in concentration process, and also found decreased activity in another part of the brain which helps orient a person in three dimensional space. "When people have spiritual experiences, they feel they become one with the universe and lose their sense of self.

That may be because of what is happening in that area - if you block that area, you lose that boundary between the self and the rest of the world. In doing so, you ultimately wind up in a universal state."

The brain,is predisposed to having those experiences of religion and spirituality and that is why people believe in God."Religion is a property of the brain, only the brain, and has little to do with what is out there."

Certain areas of brain are altered during the Darshan,Bhajan Singing,Eating of Vibhuthy,Incense Stick Smell.Raju when stung by the scorpion has quite possibly become deluded and his brain thinking process has been altered.

No, the list I am talking about was Keenan's own, as she took down the board, and listed briefly all the url's on the saibabaguru site. It's a shame if they weren't copied for reference. That is unless she has some kind of rights to them, as in copyrights. I have a feeling she might want people to access them, especially to save other "young'ns", much younger than she.

I am aware of her struggles with a variety of people, some of them immersed simultaneously in one or two or three other rigid belief systems. The deceit is something I think no one will find an easy thing to recover from, regardless of age. I am most impressed with her courage to stare the deceivers in the face, and she did a great job of it. I do hope she is not too disenfranchised by her experience to help others in need in the future. One has sometimes to tolerate strange bedfellows to further a higher cause. It's the nature of helping people, sometimes.

The nature of some of the devotees defense of saibaba has been intolerable and vicious. It is clear which side of the issue is more mentally balanced. I hope this continues.

I hope everything is well for all those who are working to debunk ssb and other abusive and deceitful cults and groups, religious or not.

Hugs to all.

To quote Raju"Swami loves wicked people more than his devotees. Devotees think of God now and then. But the wicked people think of God all the 24 hours. "LOL LOL LOL.

Hi Anthony,

It is a shame that Keenan's site is down. I believe she became disenchanted with the messy way that the two camps of pro and anti were conducting themselves. Many innocent people have also suffered. Many misunderstandings. I am glad you have stayed steadfast in your position to maintain this foru. In spite of the fact that I personally am very skeptical of some of your spiritual leanings, I do not hold that against you as a person, obviously.

I actually found the saibabaguru.com site up again for a short time, in a different form, just all the links to the different sites, without any of the graphics. Of course that too is gone now. It was a nice way to have it there without the pomp and circumstance. I wonder too if it wasn't an economic burden for K to even have it up at all.

Did anyone get to copy all the links/urls that were listed on the residual site before it came down? Hopefully you can, and e-mail it to me at my yahoo address.

Anthony again, thanks. You have been a rock of support for a lot of us. Good work.

fondly, Questor

There is not a lot of point us getting involved in defending ourselves. The data and experiences we have each had with 'sb' are what the doubting devotee wants to hear. The purpose of the board is to offer a guidance for those who ask for it. Where I bother to answer criticisms, it is only to get certain points made that will help further the purpose of the board.

There are lots of expose boards up around the world and lots of people continue to tell each other - quite aside from what is going on in official departments to expose him.

LOL

Obviously you are convinced you are right and naturally by your standard, we all have to be wrong. If there is one thing you don't have - it is 'an open mind'! You are so 'not looking' at any possibility it is true. By the way, I think 'sb' is predominently a 'soul' predator and the sexual abuse of chldren just gratifies his distorted mind and physical needs.

Many people, including many current devotees reading this, experience an increase of sexual activity once they connect to 'sb'.

Re maintaining data on other boards. We hardly need to read the information ourselves. We KNOW what is going on. However, there are new people coming daily who have doubts and want to get another view.

Moving along (LOL?)

Far from finished, but none-the-less well and truly on the way to completion of the goal. One day, when you realise what is really going on with this guy, you are going to thank God that we weren't put off so easily and because we cared for our fellow travelers, took the time to help expose 'sb'. Do you really think we read a couple of stories and hop on a band wagon of 'expose' because we have nothing else to do or are some pathethic souls that need some interest in our lives? Personally, I lead a very busy, successful, productive, happy and contented life (as you can see, I didn't make a connection to 'sb'!!!!!) and would love to have this area all sorted out so I could leave it be. But until it is, I will be there doing what I feel is right in my heart - based on my own personal experiences with this character.

Tony

I think Ick's intention is to 'warn', and he does succeed in this. However, he also creates a lot of fear and apathy because he doesn't pay enough attention to making sure people remain empowered and don't feel overwhelmed by the apparent immensity of the plots. People need to be left feeling they can do something about a situation - after they finish reading his books or hearing his talks. Although he is doing a lot of good in his warning of govt. situations, etc. I have a feeling negative karma is winning as so many give up the fight because he makes it look so big and so many are left with a great deal of fear. it would be so easy for him to get it right. Expose what he knows (and only what he knows) but make sure people know it is not bigger than them. And it isn't! No matter what it is, the power of the people will always be the strongest force on Earth.

I'd like to thank everyone for all the links you've posted. They've been very helpful, and help a lot to make up for the loss of saibabaguru.com. Thank you!
