Welcome to Stone's Throw Cottage located in Trinity Center. This 3 bedroom home is located in the heart of the Trinity Alps wilderness and is literally 'a stone's throw' away from all the activities our area has to offer.

About Stone's Throw Cottage

The cottage sleeps six comfortably and is ideal for families. There is a large fenced yard that can provide space for children and pets. Plenty of room to park the boat trailer. The large back yard is private and has a picnic area with BBQ. There is even a log cabin playhouse. In addition to a fully equipped kitchen, linens and washing facilities, the cottage includes telephone, and a VCR with many family videos.

Explore Trinity Center and enjoy this quiet mountain resort. You are within walking distance of two restaurants, video rentals, grocery store/gas, community Church, museum, small airport, marina and lakeshore. Trinity Center is 30 miles north of historic Weaverville with specialty shops, supermarket, restaurants, art galleries, movie theatre, golf course and gym.

What can you do here?

Activities include water sports, boating, skiing, and fishing. Boats can be rented at nearby marinas. White water rafting is available nearby on the Trinity River. We can connect you with fishing guides for drift boat fishing on the Trinity River. Scott Mountain is a popular destination for winter sports including cross country skiing, sledding, and snowmobiling. We are minutes away from award winning Alpen Cellars Winery that offers daily tours and wine tasting.

Nearby Services

In the small town of Trinity Center you can enjoy quiet country living. Everything is accessible by bicycle or on foot; two restaurants, video rentals, groceries, gas. Museums in Trinity Center and Weaverville give an interesting view of our mining history.

Everywhere you turn you are greeted with fantastic scenery and wildlife so bring your camera. Trinity Center is close to many trailheads and hiking or mountain biking are popular activities.

Pets

Pets are often welcome with prior arrangement. There may be a small charge. An additional refundable deposit may be required.

Cancellation

Providing we are able to re-book the retreat, a refund less ten percent will be returned.

Deposit

A $350 refundable deposit is required in addition to cottage costs.
