A computer programmer since 1969, always
at least a computer hobbyist, I have been mostly
self-employed with occasional contracts or clients, since 1975,
when I met my late husband.
My late husband taught me to do legal research and writing, on our own cases, from about 1976 thru 1992. After he died, I took about half the Legal Assistant classes at the local college and made A's in them.
We bought our first personal computer, in 1978, a Radio Shack TRS-80. Our focus was a SkillsBank project, a jobs and skills database project.
My most recent computer programming was in DOS mode, with PowerBasic. I was a pioneer in computerizing the legal process. For about 10 years, from about 1981 thru 1991, I worked on software for the legal process. I did all my own technical writing. When Windows 3.0 came out, my software was obsolete.
1991-1992
Did intensive research into nutrition, making a database
called NutriZen\BodyEquations, and I have a binder-formatted
version of this.

I studied two and a half years under Milan Vodicka at
College of the Siskiyous, not in any formal degree program,
but informally, focusing on his "wholistic teaching" style.
Many of the writings on my website were class projects. (1995-1997)
