Like Weather?

On Thursday, May 8th, Mike Petrucelli from the National Weather Service (NWS) in Medford will present a summer weather spotter training class between 6:00 and 8:00 pm at the Butte Valley Library in Dorris , California . The library is located at 800 W. Third Street .

Topics to be covered include an explanation of the weather patterns that affect the area during summer, the basics of thunderstorm and tornado development, and severe weather warnings issued by the NWS.
