It’s National Library Week, a time to celebrate the contributions of libraries, librarians and library workers in schools, campuses and communities nationwide - and the perfect time to discover how you can join the circle of knowledge @ your library.
The Siskiyou County Library is celebrating National Library Week by holding a variety of events at their branches throughout the county.
Tuesday, April 15th:
McCloud Branch will host a Children’s Story-time and new library card sign-ups at 10:30am. Kids will receive a take-home read-to-me packet complete with stickers and balloons.
Wednesday, April 16th:
Fort Jones Branch is holding an Open House and Writing Contest Awards from
5pm-6pm.
Butte Valley is having a Grand Opening to showcase their new Spanish Collection from 4:30-5:30pm.
Thursday, April 17th:
Yreka will have a Special Story-time for all children at 11am.
