TAC is made up of two members each from the staff of Shasta County, the cities of Redding, Anderson and Shasta Lake, and one member each from the Redding Area Bus Authority, Redding Airports, Shasta County Air Quality Management District, Senior Nutrition Program and Caltrans District 2. The TAC meets two weeks prior to each SCRTPA board meeting to review agenda items and offer input prior to action by the SCRTPA board. TAC members provide technical expertise and recommendations to SCRTPA staff and the RTPA board.

TAC agenda packets are posted on the Thursday before each regularly scheduled TAC meeting. TAC items contain draft reports and agendas which typically change as a result of TAC review or new information. The final RTPA agendas and staff reports are available no later than the Friday before each RTPA board meeting.
