The SCRTPA is funding a coordinated geographic information system (GIS) platform to develop and house digitized mapping data in a common format that will be utilized by all local agencies within the county. GIS is a spatial analysis tool used for project development, public involvement and planning. This work is being performed with consultant assistance.
