Welcome to the SCRTPA!

The Shasta County Regional Transportation Planning Agency (SCRTPA) and Metropolitan Planning Organization (MPO) is a transportation policy-making organization made up of representatives from local government and transportation authorities. MPO's were created by Congress in order to ensure that existing and future expenditures in transportation projects are based on a continuing, cooperative, and comprehensive planning process.
