Corian Edge Treatment and Finish Options

Customize the look of your Corian countertops by selecting an edge treatment and finish that best suits your personal taste.  

Edge Treatment Options

We offer four main categories of edge treatments, from which you have a total of 16 different edge treatment to choose from. 

Standard Basic:

• Eased Edge

• Double Eased Edge

• Bevel Edge

• Double Bevel Edge

Upgrade Basic:

• Small Ogee

• Double Small Ogee

• Large Ogee

• Double Large Ogee

Special Edge:

• Large Eased Edge

• 1/2 Bullnose (top only)

• Inlaid with Corian

• Inlaid with Wood (oak, hickory, etc)

Premium Edge:

• Full Bullnose

• Different Color Corian in Middle

• Different Color Corian on Lower Part of Edge

• Different Color Corian on Entire Edge

Corian Finish Options

There are two different finish options to choose from - a matte finish and a polished finish.  

The matte finish is by far the most common and popular as it is very easy to maintain, hides scuff marks well and is easy to renew to its original finish after years of use.

The polished finish gives your Corian countertop a nice shiny surface.  One word of caution is that the high shine of a polished finish will show little scratches and scuff marks a lot more than a matte finish will.  In addition, it takes more sanding and a much finer grit sand paper if you ever need to renew the surface to its original polished finish.
