Why we need to consider eating the algae

Processing: Protecting our Precious Jewels

The best method uses freeze-drying so that the quality of the algae is not compromised and remains intact. Not all freeze-drying methods are equal though. The methods that use high temperatures destroy the precious nutrients and the enzymatic activity. Spray drying uses as much as 500 - 600 degrees F and high air pressure. Our company uses low temperature drying and quick processing to preserve the heat and light sensitive algae's nutritional content. Standard freeze drying is far more expensive than spray drying, but is used anyway because the company has made a commitment to ensure that all the essential qualities of BGA remain in place. This exclusive freeze drying system allows BGA to be processed efficiently without ever compromising quality. To this day the processing system remains second to none.

Our state-of-the-art harvesting methods, processing, and packaging techniques utilize a complex series of integrated processing procedures to ensure BGA maintains its valuable properties so you can enjoy its full range of benefits. This is a critical factor that separates our BGA from other algae.

Locking In Nutrients With High Technology

Freshwater algae is extremely sensitive to heat and light. If the algae is exposed to heat during harvesting, transport, or processing, it quickly loses much of its nutritional value. The obstacles are overcome by the on-site state-of-the-art harvesting/processing facility, which allows a quick "lock in" of BGA's full range (97%) of original nutrients.

Are These Products Safe? Absolutely!

The products that we sell are perfectly safe for everyone. How do I know? Because regularly-collected samples of the algae and the water from which it comes are subjected to a wide variety of scientific analysis and tests. Please note that these testing standards, far exceed those of the U.S. Food and Drug Administration. There is no food product we know of that undergoes more stringent quality and purity control analysis and tests. The samples which are tested are taken daily, and in every batch of product, to ensure that all Blue Green Algae products are safe, pure and healthful.

Note: This statement has not been evaluated by the Food and Drug Administration. This product is not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease.
