This was one of my first Bryce images. Here I'm experimenting with a terrain as text (or text as a terrain). Once created, I added a rocky texture, then rotated it forward and pushed it back into the mountain terrain. Add some Classic Bryce snow to the mountain and your done. Pretty basic, but kind of a neat effect.

Here again I'm playing around with intersecting terrains. Two different small planes were created and textured with a sandy finish, then rotated, and pushed into the mountain terrain and then down into the water surface. Creates kind of a beach effect. There's also a squashed sphere above the mountain with a cloud texture added.

This is a favorite of mine. Here I created a terrain and gave it one of the cloudy, yet transparent, textures. This makes for an iceberg type of look. By playing with the frequency on the water plane, you can get the look of broken ice or ice floes. The setting sun is what really makes the iceberg-look work. Different sun angles and colors didn't produce near the proper effect.

Called Domes, this was my first experiment with multiple spheres and a water plane that rests just slightly above the surface plane. The domes are concentric spheres pushed down into the surface plane. Also, you can see small terrains inside the domes. Kind of a greenhouse/environmental thing.
