Frames from the post-war era are mostly straightforward and relatively easy to repair. Frames should be shipped with swingarms installed.
Prices average from $125 to $200 depending on the severity of damage.
Telescopic forks are predominate in this group of motorcycles. All of the
components are repairable. Crowns and stems should be sent in pairs. Stanchion
tubes may be successfully straightened if not kinked. Fork sliders are
sometimes bent or dented and they are repairable. Earls type forks as found
on Greeves etc. must be shipped as a complete unit.
Crowns and stems are $50 per pair, stanchions $25 each, fork sliders $20 each.
Earls forks vary, but $200 is average.
