Buggies

This is the classic Buggy. It holds two people, and it's considered the fastest vehicles in the entire game, but it's also the most unstable, since it's prone to fish-tailing and flipping when going too fast, and when hitting the tiniest of bumps on the ground.

The TUV (There Utility Vehicle) is a 4x4 vehicle that hugs the ground better and isn't as prone to flipping out like the classic Buggy.  It is a tad slower than the buggy, but it can hold up it's own in races with the buggy.

Controls:
You can use the arrow keys to control the buggy.  Pressing down will break, and once it has stopped pressing down will make the buggy go in reverse.  Right mouse button will fire off the turbo, which you can use indefinitely, but the faster the buggy goes the more unstable you are.  Any little bump on the ground can cause your buggy to flip out, and lose control.  But if you do flip the buggy it will reset upright after it has come to a rest. It's recommended you use action mode to control your buggy.  You'll have faster response for steering and generally have better control.

Tip: If you find your self nearly out of control running on two tires at the left or right side, you can recover by simply turning your wheels in the direction that your tires are on the ground.  this will cause the car to settle down properly back on all four tires.  If you run the opposite way you're likely to flip the buggy.

Hoverboards

The Cruiser hoverboard is the most common board. It's the slowest, but it's the easiest to use and level up on.  It only can do a few tricks, but they come in different paint styles, and totally different looks.  Developers can also make custom models of this hoverboard and make unique boards like dolphins, sharks, pirate ships, butterflies, dragons, or anything.

The Radical hoverboard, the FASTEST hoverboard to use, however it doesn't do any more tricks than the cruisers, but they can get more air off a ramp due to it's faster speed.  They come in different paint jobs created by developers, but no custom models yet.

The Freestyles are for expert tricks. They are faster than cruiser boards, but not as fast as radicals.  The main difference with these boards is they are much smaller and they do many more tricks.  Very fun!

Controls:
Controlling your hoverboard is no different than most other vehicles.  The arrow keys will move and steer your hoverboard in the desired direction.  Down arrow breaks, but you can't go in reverse on a hoverboard manually.  You may often find your self sliding down an incline backwards, but other than that there is no way to go in reverse. but you can still stop yourself if you're sliding backwards like that.

Left mouse button performs a turbo but it doesn't last long, and it takes time to recharge after it's been exhausted.  If you're in a race it's best to "tap" the turbo every second too keep your speed consistent, rather than fire the turbo off all at once.  Please note that the turbo functions only works when you're in action mode

Jumping is done with the right mouse button.  You must first hold the button for a moment, and then let go to jump, if you don't hold it down long enough the jump won't be very high.  Once you jump in this manor, and you are not already in the air when you let go of the right mouse button you'll be in "trick mode" so you can perform stunts and tricks.

In trick mode the arrow keys will perform special holds of your hoverboard, and positions.  Depending on the type of hoverboard you're using, different arrow key combinations will make your avatar hold the board in different ways, flip or spin the board from under them, so "superman" positions and so forth.  Moving the mouse around will cause you to spin or flip.  If you hold down the right mouse button again, and move the mouse left or right, you'll roll on your hoverboard.

Hoverboard Tricks:
There are three levels of board tricks in the order of how complex you do your tricks. The more combinations you do, the better trick you'll pull off, and the more experience you'll gain towards the hoverboard skill.

Each level is indicated by the arm movements of your avatar after you've landed and finished the trick.  Level 1 is when your avatar raises their right arm, with the elbow bent, and shaking it's fist, with a rattlesnake sound.  Level 2 is when your avatar raises it's right arm strait upward, with a sounds that sounds like a dull thunderclap.  Level 3 is when both arms shoot strait upward, and you hear a slide whistle going up.

To do a level one trick you can stand idle on your board, hold down right mouse button to crouch and let go to jump.  Once you let go, press any arrow key so your avatar grabs the board, and then flick your mouse in one direction so that the board spins.  If you jumped high enough you should be able to do at least one full rotation, or more depending on how sensitive your mouse is.  Let go of the arrow key before you land, and you should have successfully done a level 1 board trick.

Level 2 or 3 tricks require you to jump off from a ramp, a cliff, a hill, or anything that will get you air time.  With the extra air time simply change the direction of your spin and/or press a different arrow key to hold your board differently.  If you can pull of two tricks in air and land successfully, you will have done a level 2 trick.  If you do more tricks in the air, then you did a 3 type trick, where both arms of your avatar will go up.  The more complex tricks you do, the quicker you'll gain experience to level up.

The simplest level 3 trick to do is with a cruiser board, and a ramp. Head over to Hoverboard Park, if you can find it.  It's not located on the map or in your favorite places, but it's a good place to train on your hoverboard.

Go into "default action mode", and hold down your right mouse button to crouch and prepare to jump.  When you hit the ramp tap your left mouse button so you'll boost, and release both mouse buttons just before you leave the ramp so you'll get a higher jump and more air time. Then hold down the left or right arrow key, and then flick your mouse to the left.  Once your hoverboard has made a complete rotation, and still holding down that arrow key, flick your mouse to the right to make another full rotation in the other direction, then if you still have enough air time flick your mouse to the left again and do another complete rotation.  Do as many as you can before you hit the ground.  Release all keys and mouse buttons just before you hit the ground and make sure the hoverboard is under you, or you may wipe out, and gain no experience.  If you done this correctly you'll get a level 3 trick, with both arms up in the air!  'woohoo

Hoverpacks

There are only two kinds of hoverpacks.  The Classic (left), and the Flutter Bugs (right). They work the same way, the only difference with the flutter bug is it's faster when moving forward.  Both packs ascend and descend at the same speed, and both come in different colors and designs.

 Keys/buttons Function
 Up arrow Move forward
 Down arrow Descend
Left or Right Turns left or right
 Up and down together Ascend
 Right mouse button Ascend
Controls:
Use the arrow keys to turn yourself left and right.  Up arrow will move you forward, down arrow will make you descend (go down).  Pressing both up and down arrows will make you assented (go up).  If you use Action Mode, then you can look in any direction and when you press the up arrow, you'll fly towards that direction.  So if you're looking downward you'll also move forward, and descend.

Tip: Use action mode to fly in the direction your facing.  Just aim with your mouse in the direction you want to go, and press the up arrow button.  If fly forward as well as downward or upward depending on the direction you're looking.

Hoverbikes

Hoverbikes are actually modified hoverboards, so they operate the exact same way as a curiser hoverboard. It's still a fun way to get around.  Developers are now able to re-paint the hoverboards texture so you can get different styles. More recently developers can now make custom models where they can look totally different.  Things like horses, Pegasus, TRON bikes, hovercars, baby carriages, anything.

Controls:
The controls for a hoverbike are EXACTLY the same as with a hoverboard, except they do NOT complex tricks.  You can turn, flip and roll your hoverbike when you get air, and just like hoverboards, you must jump first to get air and enter "trick mode" before you can do them.  However you don't get any extra bonus experience for hoverbike skill for doing it, and the bikes are REALLY slow when spinning, flipping, and rolling.  So be careful, since you CAN wipe out if you land on your head.

Hoverboats

This is giant round hovercraft that can hold four passengers, and one driver (5 total). This is the only vehicle that can hold this many, and using it works towards socializer skill (so do buggies when you have a passenger).  The hoverboats might seem slow, but since they can fly over things you can get to destinations much quicker than you would with any other land vehicle.

Controls:
The controls for hoverboats are exactly the same as hoverpacks, except the right mouse button makes the hoverboard descend.  When using using action mode it mostly effects the camera angle you'll have, which also effects the camera angle your passengers will see unless they are doing something different.  This is good to point out points of interests if you're having a hoverboat tour.

It's recommended you use Cruise Control if you're going on a long trip, and wish to chat with your passengers at the same time.  To enable cruise control click on: There, Customize, World, Cruise Control.  This function will activate once you've held down your up arrow button for over 7 seconds.  This will keep the thrusters going but it won't steer for you, however if the boat starts to approach higer ground that's getting too close to the boat it will automatically assend.
