      The "Creeple Peeple" Page

The Creeple Peeple (picture courtesy of the John Kolesar collection) were lovable little fellows that you made from goop and attached onto pencils which served as their bodies. They had heads, arms and feet and evidently some had either cloth or paper clothing to wear. Brightly colored fake fur served to fit through the top of the head and acted as hair. It sort of gave them the look of a troll doll. One of the figures had "I Love You" stamped into the back of his head, another had a sewn on patch on the back of the head. This was all in all a very unusual set. The colors on the box were incredibly vivid and the picture does not do the set justice. This set was available with a normal box or a special 'foil' box. The picture above was from a foil box (as well as the side of the box on the Main Thingmaker page) which have kept their colors much better than the plain paper boxes. The head molds required special insets to hollow out the heads so that they would fit on the pencils. They look vaguely like a pair of round glasses made out of solid metal. The large heads will not cook properly without these insets as the face will burn before the back is cooked solid!

      Downloadable Creeple Clothes !

Ever have that feeling when you are making your Creeple Peeple with you old set that they were.. well ... naked? Well worry no more! Recently I received a nifty .jpg of the paper cutout sheet of clothing for the Creeple Peeple. Special thanks going out to Richard Miller for that wonderful goodie. It has takes quite a while to get the additional web space to so this so download it while you can! this file is about 1MB is size. It prints out really well on a color inkjet printer. Clothing on demand.. Pretty cool eh? You could even modify the colors should you be so inclined. I hope that this does not offend any of the current copyright holders. It is just one of those things that everyone wants and no one will produce more of.

To aid collector below is a picture of all the molds in the set arranged by their respective part numbers. You can find the part numbers written in fine print on the top of the molds This should aid you if you are trying to collect a set of molds one or two at a time. There are only 5 molds in this set. There were also two small head inserts and one large head inset in the set. Both inserts are not shown. By the way I have a complete set of molds from this set to trade (- the large head insert) if you are interested. Send e-mial to fox@snowcrest.net if you have any more information.
