With my partner Mark Phillips, I have collaborated on a book documenting the history of SF TV. We documented 62 SF-TV shows from 1959 to 1989 for McFarland & Company, a North Carolina publisher. We interviewed 250 actors, writers, directors and production people and they all had great anecdotes to tell about their experiences. The entire project took five years to complete. Plus, we documented COMPLETE episode guides, biographies for each and every show. The book was published in August 1996...

Who's Frank Garcia?

Frank Garcia is a veteran science fiction media journalist who also writes entertainment, business and computing features. He's a 10-year veteran with Starlog magazine. He is the co-author with Mark Phillips of Science Fiction Television Series - Episode Guides, Histories and Casts and Credits for 62 Prime Time Shows, 1959 through 1989 from McFarland & Company. This book took five years to complete. He wrote a double-issue (80 pages) documentary on The Outer Limits and co-wrote a second (forthcoming) double issue on Babylon 5 for Cinefantastique magazine. He also wrote for MANIA! on the Internet and currently writes for Fandom.Com.

Who's Mark Phillips?

Mark Phillips worked in the newspaper production trade during the 1980s and later as a magazine columnist and feature writer for Canada's Unique Magazine. A freelance journalist, he was one of the contributing writers for the Harper Collins paperback, STAR TREK's Greatest Guest Stars. He wrote the exhaustively detailed article, History of Lost in Space, for New Line Cinema's web site at http://www.lostinspacetv.com He's a veteran correspondent for Starlog Magazine and is primarily a
