(7x10) McFarland & Company, North Carolina 1996 With my partner Mark Phillips, I have collaborated on a
book documenting the history of SF TV. We documented 62
SF-TV shows from 1959 to 1989 for McFarland & Company, a
North Carolina publisher. We interviewed 250 actors,
writers, directors and production people and they all had
great anecdotes to tell about their experiences. The entire
project took five years to complete. Plus, we documented
COMPLETE episode guides, biographies for each and every
show. The book was published in August 1996... Who's Frank Garcia? Frank Garcia is a veteran science fiction media
journalist who also writes entertainment, business and
computing features. He's a 10-year veteran with Starlog
magazine. He is the co-author with Mark Phillips of Science
Fiction Television Series - Episode Guides, Histories and
Casts and Credits for 62 Prime Time Shows, 1959 through 1989
from McFarland & Company. This book took five years to
complete. He wrote a double-issue (80 pages) documentary on
The Outer Limits and co-wrote a second (forthcoming) double
issue on Babylon 5 for Cinefantastique magazine. He also
wrote for MANIA! on the Internet and currently writes for
Fandom.Com. Who's Mark Phillips? Mark Phillips worked in the newspaper production trade
during the 1980s and later as a magazine columnist and
