PHOTO SUBMISSION REQUIREMENTS

\These are basic guidelines and requirements for submitting pictures and general information for the AMERICAN COSTUME/COSPLAY MAGAZINE and CD.

-THEMES: You may submit pictures of any, or all, of the following genres: Science Fiction, Anime, Fantasy, Period, Props. This include group photos. And can be taken from anywhere, at any time.

You are not limited to conventions, stage, or at home. Feel free to stage your picture in a settng that is natural to you, or your character. Be it a woodland forest, an exquisitly kept garden, your living room in the front of your house, or even a staged setting. This is displaying you.

-LIMIT: There is no limit to the number of pictures you can submit. But do not submit soo many that we cannot make a decision. And do not make them a whole series of one costume taken at dozens of differnet angles. Make sure your name, address, and/or email address is clearly printed on the back of each picture.

But, the picture must be your's. Meaning that unless you were given this picture as a gift, or bought it outright, you must have permission from the photographer.

-QULAITY: Be sure to send your best. Or as best as you can. There are some alterations that we can do, but don't send any that are soo dark, or soo lite that we cannot do anything with.

-PHOTOMANIPULATIONS: Will be accepted. Either as a print out (High resolution (See: SIZE)), or on a floppy disc or computer cd (See: SUBMISSIONS BY OTHER FORMATS)

SIZE: Pictures should be no smaller than standard 3 inch size. And no larger than standard 8x10s.

-SUBMISSIONS BY OTHER FORMATS: Submissions my be sent by either PHOTO CD or by 3.5 inch disc, as long as they are in either standard jpeg, gif or photoshop format.. Email cannot be accepted because some email formats are non-standard, or cannot be manipulated for size. And all picture resolution must be no smaller than 200 dpi (Standard magazine quality.)

-LABELING: All pictures should be labled with the person/group's name on the back of any and all photographs, and a lable with the person/group's name on the disc or CD. If we cannot identify the picture with the form or synopsis, then we cannot use it.

-UNACCEPTABLE PICTURES: While we will accept pictures that has a beefcake/cheesekake, pin-up style. But nothing lude, nude, crude or downright icky. Nothing pornographic will not be accepted. Also pictures that are too grusome or too grotesque will not be accepted. And will not accept pictures where we have to get them off of webpages.

-RETURN POLICY: Pictures will not be returned unless return postage is included. Either by separate return envalope or check/money order.

LEGAL RIGHTS: All pictures becomes the property of J-A-G PICTURE PRODUCTION for the use ONLY in the case of the magazine/CD. Individuals do not waiver their copyrights to their picture under U.S. and international copyright law. But are only allowing us to use them for this purpose of display only. (Accept for advertising reasons as well.).

The submitters do have the right to make sure that their names and addressed will not be printed unless they wish.

-CONTRIBUTING INFORMATION: Anyone contributing a picture may have their name put up, and their website linked. With other general, information about themselves, or their group, that they wish.

-ADVERTISING: Contributors may advertise their website only. If for commercial use, a fee of (Yet to be determined) is required. Non commercial or non-profit groups are exempt.

-NO REIMBURSEMENT: Since you are submitting htis of your own accord, there will be no monitary recompense, and no one will be getting a free issue in return.

I do by adhere to the requirements and regulations put down by J-A-G PICTURE PRODUCTION, and give them the right to display the picture(s) iave have enclosed, only for the AMERICAN COSTUME/COSPLAYERS MAGAZINE and CD. I have not waivered my copyrights to these pictures, and trust that J-A-G PICTURE PRODUCTION will not use them in any other way without prio permission, accept in advertising this magazine and CD.

I also understand that I may contribut what information I wish, and understand that it will be edited for space.
