Currently, there is only one person working on the comics: Me, Joe Eibe. I have been developing these characters for the past four years and have finally put them on to paper, because of time, and expense I have to write the script, draw the pages, ink them, letter them. But for the captioning, I am using my Amiga 500, and desktop publishing program. Because if I did it by hand, I'd drive myself crazy. But fortunately, I have an editor, who checks my work after it's finished, thus eliminating most errors. I have strived for the highest quality that one can do. Admittedly, it's not perfect, but then what in this world is? Some may wonder why I don't use zippotone on the pages. Well, it came down to either spend the money on zippotone or copying. Copying won.

There are currently three series in the works for production. And I am working on them one series at a time. Doing trial story arcs. Making four to seven issues as a trial run to see how people like the characters and the way the stories are going before we spend the money on the final product.

The three series are entitled: DYNATRON, KUNOICHI, and The INDENTURED.

STORIES IN SHADOWS

It's a short, digest size Ashcan editition which I made, basically outlining part of the characters and their situations. It's copied on my father;s copier. But the cover is copied on 90# paper over at Kinkos. I wish I could have gotten gray shades, but, it is with a look

DYNATRON

This character is one of the most overmade characters I've come up with. He's a conglomeration of most of the comic books and Anime characters I have tome to like in all these years. I like to pit him against characters who have 'extreme personalities'. Like Time Burton did with the Penguin in BATMAN RETURNS. I kind of based the feel of the character on Ralph Hinkley, from the '80's tv show THE GREATEST AMERICAN HERO with William Kat, Robert Clup and Connie Seleca.

I originally made this character for an animated series, but, because of cost, I decided to make him a comic. I have based the comic off the script I made. Cutting it into four separate issues was incredibly difficult. And I had to cut out some really narrative scenes to fit into the pages. So, I am making this a seven issue trail series. Two story arcs. The second one, will be purposefully made to fit in the pages of a comic,


DYNATRON #1: 'THE POWER'

On a specimen hunting trip for his botany class, college student Jason Segol was embued with a power from an extraterrestrial race. With an instructor, Jyl of the planet Erwatt, to instruct him on how to use these power. But, following Jyl was a small squadron of Cyborgs known as "Dreadnaughts", who have orders to capture her before the power could be given to someone. They sensed the power within Jason and turned away to destroy Jason, only to be destroyed by Jyl.

back on Erwatt, we find that Jyl is an exiled Princess, and her mother is held captive back home. Jyl's mother is killed by the villain, Cydotron, as he tries to use her to quell an overthrow of his rule. But he rips her head off to keep her from shouting out the knowledge that the Princess is a Dynatron.

Cydotron learns of Jyl's presensce on Earth, and sends a garrison to Dreadnaughts to Earth to destroy Jason, and to either capture or destroy Jyl.

Meanwhile: Jason is beginning to have strange sensations, and disturbing dreams, which are battle simulations in his mind. Jason finally confronts Jyl as the garrison arrives on Earth. Jyl goes off to fight them. Jason feels the need to do something, so he activates his full power, which overloads his senses, stunning him.


DYNATRON #2 'THE LESSONS'

Picks up from issue #1. As the Dreadnaughts prepare to attack Jason, he revives and destroys the ships coming at him.

While this is going on, at MacArthur Air Force Base, a squadron of interceptors are scrambled, but arrive only to witness the defeat of the Dreadnaughts, and the quick departure of Jason and Jyl.

Later, a special section of the Air Force gathers the wreckage of the downed Dreadnaughts and their Rapiers. Feeling that he has no choice, the man incharge of this investigation: Col. James Brickham, requests to activate a special Ultra Secret Project: 'GLADIATOR'. But the Joint-Chiefs are reluctant to do so.

Meanwhile: Jyl is beginning her instructing Jason on his powers. Helping him fine tune his abilities. While Cydotron is on his way to Earth.

DYNATRON #3 'CYDOTRON ON EARTH;

Jason and Jyl fight for their lives as Cydotron tries to destroy them. Jason leads Cydotron away from Jyl by flying around the world.

DYNATRON #4 'THE CHASE'

After chasing Jason around the world, Cydotron finally catches up with Jason in Tokyo, with cameo appearances of some of my favorite anime characters, who inspired some of the DYNATRONS' abilities.

KUNOICHI

It began in Feudal Japan, when a pregnant women came running from a Samurai Lord's house, being pursued by soldiers. She is a female ninja: A KUNOICHI. She was suppose to meet a genin (Ninja agent), but goes into labor as an archer finds her and shoots an arrow in to her chest, killing her instantly. But before he could yell, the genin kills the archer. finding that she is dead, and hearing the soldiers coming up on their position, he is about to leave when he saw her knee twitch. Then he realized: The baby.

He freed the child from it's dead mother, and saw a cryptic message the mother wrote in the dirt: "A DISTANT SON TO THIS CHILD SHALL SIRE A DAUGHTER ON A LAND BEYOND THESE SHORES. SHE WILL BE BORN AS THIS CHILD HAS BEEN. SHE WILL RIGHT THE WRONGS OF THE DARKEST DAYS AHEAD." Remembering this, the genin wrapped the child up and ran away. Forging streams and keeping just ahead of the following Samurai troops, he made it back to his Jonin (Ninja clan leader) and told him of what happened. he also told of the plans of the cousin to the Lord of the Providence, who planned to assassinate the Shogun, blaming the ninjas, and seizing power for himself.

Before making plans, the Jonin takes the child into his family. And upon these words, a Mykkyo priest, a Geisha and a Ronin came into the hall, like a trio of wraiths, and bestowed blessings upon the child. Departing just as the mastermind of the assassination approached the dojo with a platoon of lancers and swordsmen. His name is Yadaku.

He orders the surrender of the clan to his troops, or he will destroy them utterly. But, unbeknown to him, the clan had already escaped, and made preparations to rescue the Shogun's son from the assassin's knife, while the jonin went out and distracted the soldiers. Sacrificing himself for the clan.

THE REST OF THE STORY TAKES PLACE IN MODERN TIMES.

THE INDENTURED

It takes place in the 50th century, after the apocalypse, when civilization is turned upside down. the world has rebuilt itself in the form of a medieval civilization, and extremely powerful telekienetics have taken the place of sorcerers.

This is the story of a journeyman sorceress and a warrior

Her name is Cindell. A novice sorceress, just completing her studies. She has been brought up in comfort and luxury, known that she is specially gifted with these powers. Although she is not selfish or evil, she is full of herself, and envisions herself in the service of a regent. Living in a gilded tower, and plush surroundings.

The warrior's name is Raan: He is a great and noble warrior, who has fought not just for gold, but for just causes. He has a magically enchanted sword, which we'll find out what it does later. Although he had a way with the women in his carefree youth, something happened to him, which he has never told anyone about. it has sullen him and he also wears a mask over the left side of his face. And now, he keeps to himself.

The story basis: Cindell is coming to her 18th year, the year of her transition from a novice to a journeyman. And her teacher is afraid that she is not disciplined enough to use the power within, instead of tapping into the power that is in the air that all telekenetiks can do. He has no recourse but to bind her powers wile she learns to tap the power within. But, he needs a warrior to protect her.

He sends his wife to find a warrior at the employment hall. Once there, she is shown to Raan, who has been in the teacher's employ before. he agrees to the job and goes back to the keep.

Where Cindell is dressing up for a trip. Thinking that her teacher is taking her to a court celebration, she dresses herself up in something eyecathing. Thinking to tease some of the men at the court. She is surprised when her teacher orders her to change and put something on for walking. Wondering why, since they has always taken horses. Wanting to waste no more time, and taking advantage of he confusion, he binds her power with a spell.

Creating mystical manacles and chains, that binds her powers so that she can't tap the psychic energies n the air, and have to develop the power inside of her. And Raan was there to protect her from warriors who would try to take advantage of her.

her teacher told her that she would wear them all through her journeyman years, developing her willpower and inner disciplines. Because only a master sorcerer could break the manacles. And if she did not manage to break them by the time she was 32, she would undergo an operation to remove that portion of her brain which controlled her power. And no one not associated with other sorcerers will be able to see the manacles and chains, because they are a mystical/psychological representation

Now, they walk around the land, doing deeds, fighting battles, trying to keep safe those who need help.
