The Fright Factory set (picture courtesy of the John Kolesar collection) had some of the most neeto molds around. Including the Shrunken head mold. This mold created on a diagonal a shrunken head the size of the mold itself. It came with an insert so that you didn't have to use so much goop and also so that it would cook evenly. Another memorable mold was the skeleton mold. This mold made a 5 inch high skeleton which you assembled out of various parts. This set also came with glow in the dark goop which glowed a 'ghastly green' and a bottle of flesh colored goop for making the faces of the shrunken heads, scars and other frightening things. Another mold that was interesting was the long fingernail mold. Make icky 'claws' for your fingers. I think this set also came with some sort of adhesive to sticking the scars on your face along with some black hair for the shrunken head!
I remember vividly having this set as a child. I had the large box set while the picture above was from the 'Play-Pak' version. The large box I had did not mention the ability to use your Vac-U-Form machine as it came with its own heating unit. I think this represents all the molds that were in the full set. Many of the molds form this set were sold as carded molds either individually like the Shrunken Head 4522-056 and the Skeleton 4495-051, and some were sold with two molds on a card including Eye, Skull and Bones Necklace 4522-054 and Skeleton 4495-051
Another cool thing you could do with this today is to use all the bright rainbow colors provided by Goop-FX Sticks and use the skeleton to create your very own 'grateful dead' Gerry Garcia action figure. Looks cool hanging from the rearview mirror too!
To aid collector below is a picture of all the molds in the set arranged by their respective part numbers. This should aid you if you are trying to collect a set of molds one or two at a time. Keep in mind that the Shrunken Head really requires insert 4522-057 to work as it is very thick!
