I WANT TO TELL IT LIKE IT IS

                                      I want to tell it like it is
                           I want the whole world to see
                           I'm A Christian yes I am
                           This is the way for me
                           I want to shout it to the sky
                           Of what it means to me
                           To know that Jesus gave his life
                           And died to set me free
                           To know that Jesus is the light
                           He lit the way for me
 
                           I want to tell it like it is
                           I want the whole world to hear
                           Jesus came into my heart
                           Took away all my fear
                           I want to sing the good news
                           To let the world share
                           My joy in being a Christian 
                           To have a God who cares 
                           My joy in telling others
                           My God is every where
 
                           I want to tell it like it is
                           I want the whole world to know
                          God forgives every sin
                          He makes the heartach go
                          I want to walk on distant shores
                          A witness I will be
                          To tell that I am a Christian
                          And how my God saved me
                          To tell of my salvation
                          And it's for eternity
