I have a God who cares for me
                                     
   
                          I have a God who cares for me
                          He sent His Son to die for me
                          He saved my soul on Calvary's tree 
                          He took my soul and set me free. 
 
                          He paid the price that I might share
                          Glories of heaven in His care 
                          His precious blood He shed for me 
                          Now I am His and forever will be. 
 
                          I wonder why He loved me so
                          Why He would never let me go 
                          When I rebelled He still loved me 
                          Watching and waiting so patiently 
 
                          I have a God who cares for me
                          A living God so real to me 
                          Never will I turn from Him 
                          He saved me from a life of sin.
