I've been waiting for you
for so long now,
long nights are weathered
and survived somehow

I know when I greet you
that I will see
reflections of
what we can be

and then all the waiting
will have so much worth
for the reward of you
and our love in it's birth

to open up two hearts
so much greater than
anything, anywhere
on this earth can.
